An LDS church leader says the Kings will land on the eastern side of the United States on Sunday.
The Lord is not resting and will soon arrive.
The revelation was made last month in an early morning meeting of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, the group that presides over the Church’s worldwide governing body.LDS Church leaders have warned that the Lord is coming to the United State and that many of His followers are coming to believe that they will be born again.
“The Lord will soon return, and this is one of His purposes for which He is preparing us for His coming,” Elder Neal A. Maxwell of the Seventy said in the May 21 revelation.
The timing of the Lord’s arrival was not immediately clear, but it is likely to be during the summer months.
The Lord’s return is one way the Lord hopes to fulfill His promise to usher in a new era in the church.
In May 2016, a Mormon newspaper reported that the United Kingdom was about to become the next site for the Lord to return.
In January, the First Presidency issued a letter urging church members not to go out into the wilderness without protection.
Some of the church’s members are still in the wilderness, but most have returned home.
The Saints are expected to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, which is the first day of the Latter-day Saint year, on Saturday.
Church leaders have told people in the Church that they can return to the U.S. during the spring, summer and fall and enjoy all of the blessings of the gospel.
Church members who do not go to the temple or do not have a temple recommend are required to remain in the country for six months.
