A land rover has landed on a remote Indian plateau near the border between India and China.
Lr3, the land rover named after the first woman to walk on Mars, will land on the Kargil region in eastern Nepal on Wednesday, officials said on Tuesday.
It is a key part of India’s effort to explore the Red Planet.
Katherine’s Landing land rover, also known as the LRR, was named after former President John F. Kennedy’s wife, Katherine, who first walked on the moon in 1962.
