SAN ANTONIO (AP) When it rained, you could hike and do the camping in the Park.
But it’s hard to find a spot for the annual Texas camping festival this year because the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is closed for the winter.
Texas Parks and Water says there’s no place for camping at the festival because of an ongoing state shutdown.
The festival will go on this year but only if the government is back up and running.
In the meantime, the parks department says there will be camping at other parks.
The parks department had not released the official lineup for the festival, but a list of speakers posted on the park’s website shows the event will include artists, film crews, historians and outdoor enthusiasts.
The list also includes an exhibit of artifacts and artifacts from the park that are donated to the parks.
