The next big outdoor adventure is coming.
And if you can’t make it in the winter months, the next big adventure is here.
It’s the 2020 Winter Olympics.
And you can bet your bottom dollar you’ll want to make the most of it.
The NHL will host its first outdoor hockey games on January 6 and 7, 2020, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The games will be streamed live on NBCSN and NHL GameCenter Live, and you’ll have the chance to tune in at home.
It’ll be the first time in franchise history that the NHL will play outdoor games at the Coliseum, which is where the New York Rangers play their outdoor games.
The outdoor games will begin with a pair of exhibition games on Friday, January 6.
The first exhibition game will be the Minnesota Wild vs. the New Jersey Devils at 8:30 p.m.
ET.
The game will also be streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra, which will be available on your home computer and mobile device.
The Wild and Devils will face off for the first outdoor game of the season, on Sunday, January 8, when the Wild hosts the New Orleans Pelicans at 9:30 a.m ET.
On Sunday, the game will stream live on the NHL Network, NBCSN, and NHLGameCenter Live.
The next outdoor game will take place on Monday, January 9, when Nashville hosts the Columbus Blue Jackets at 11:30 am ET.
That game will livestream live on NHL Network and NHL Video Up.
The final outdoor game for the 2020-21 season will be played on Saturday, January 11, when Buffalo hosts the Washington Capitals at 12:30 pm ET.
It will be live streamed on the AHL Network and the NHL GameCentre Live.
It won’t be televised on NBC.
